"A dead purifier. Looks like a sock puppet."
—KNO3's Wide Angle
"A dead purifier. He has a particularly short temper, but he's trying to get it down. Very honest and just as foul-mouthed."
—Bx:E's Bonus Room
Ghost Batter is one of The Batter's alternates, as well as a playable character in Continue/Stop/Rise, and the protagonist of Bx: Execute.
Appearance
Nearly identical in appearance to The Batter from the waist up, with a black baseball cap, messy black hair, and what seems to be the beginning of a black turtleneck. His arms float detached from his body due to the specific position in which he died. A la popular interpretations of ghosts, his legs are replaced with a tail that curls at the end, causing some to mistake him for a snake-like creature. His eye sockets are actually completely hollow, despite popular interpretation of them being completely black, as he's still shown to be able to close them. He's lacking in height, being the shortest of the Batter Trio, but he's described by Huaso as having a muscular build, to compensate.
Personality
"Good Points: Honest, Responsible. Bad Points: Stubborn, Reckless."
—Bx:E's Bonus Room
Ghost Batter is a very loud and aggressive person, exemplified by his very first appearance being attacking The Batter for attempting to "purify" him. His speech is generally littered with curses and derogatory language, although there are rare cases when he doesn't use either. Despite having a short fuse, his anger, albeit exaggerated, is very rarely misguided. He has a strong sense of morality, and seldom hesitates to use any means necessary to do what must be done, especially when it comes to punishing his brother for his voracious tendencies. Unfortunately, his unwavering disposition gives way to impulsivity, something that very often gets him into trouble, or worse, severely injured.
Ghost's personality derives from, in M's words, "his deep emotional trauma and the lack of care given to it." He's very cold, and rough around the edges, as to be expected of people with similar hardships to his. He prioritizes attempting to be a better person in spite of his upbringing, as seen when he gives Sugar advice based on his own experiences, but to Ghost, this seems to mean ignoring his trauma completely. This is better illustrated in Bx: Execute, where, when faced with constant stress-inducing missions back-to-back, he tries to just get it over with, for the sake of "doing his duty". This behavior is the sign of something lethal: a hero complex. This complex, combined with all accounts of trauma and strife he's had to overcome, makes Ghost a tragic hero in every sense of the word.

Trivia
- When asked for his relative height to the rest of the Batter Trio, M described him as being "a manlet".
- Apparently, Ghost was inspired by some sort of edition of Boxxer. This is why he has anger issues and punching-based competences.
- When Ghost died, he lost 100% of his brain, and can often act too rash.
