In Battle

Lenny is a mini-boss found in Cribeat's Inner Mountain. He does not possess a large array of unique competences, but he can use virtually any move he's hit with against the party. After being hit with a competence it will be "added to his deck," which will stay in his deck until he clears it. If an attack hits Lenny, but has no effect, it will still be added to his deck.

Side note: Lenny, quite literally, cannot be killed. He is immune to Calamity. He is immune to Misfortune Wheel. You will try to whittle his HP down to 0 and you will not succeed because he will run away before you get the chance to. He's just there to distract you. Have fun!

Competence Description
CrypB Joker's Poker The user selects one random competence in their "deck" to use on the opposing team.
CrypB Full Deck Clears the user's deck, opening up the opportunity to gain new moves.
CrypB Hollow Slash Instantly Hollowed hollows one enemy party member.
CrypA Mourning Glory Severely lowers the enemy party's ATK, DEF, ESP, and NUM for 5 turns.

Other notes:

  • He will not absorb any competences until he uses Full Deck. Until he does, he can cycle between Hollow Slash and Mourning Glory.
  • Full Deck has a five-turn cooldown before it can be used again.
  • He can add Marks to his deck.
  • He is immune to certain status afflictions (when using 20th Relic, he cannot inflict Calamity to himself.)
  • He cannot add Two-Edged Elements to his deck.

Trivia

  • Lenny is not an Elsen, despite what some may deduce given his normal attire being identical to theirs. He is presumably a human, and quite an old one, having existed long before the creation of the OFF or derivative universes.
